 Video calibration
Q: I've just spent $xxxx on my television or projector and
you want more money to calibrate it.
Manufactures know that most buyers will walk into a showroom and compare
screens. Unfortunately to the majority of people the brightest screen will
always attract there eye. I and many other like to call this torch mode, and is
really a necessity to sell product.
This in reality does not accurately portray
the true picture, so whether its the grass of a football game, the complexion of
someone's face or the blue sky there is really only one true colour and in the
case of a movie someone has taken considerable time and effort to capture,
edit and process to ensure the viewer sees exactly what the film maker intended.
